Notes : Built by EMD as Milwaukee Road SD9 #2228 (1/1954), renumbered to MILW #534. Rebuilt and upgraded to SD10 standards (6/1974) and renumbered to MILW #551. Acquired by SOO through merger (1985). Unit was to become SOO #6110 but never applied. Retired (1/1987), sold to DME, became DME #551, named "City of Brookings". Sold.
